I'm Tristan MacHale (@tsmachale) and I'm from Long Island, NY. I work in a fine art gallery, and I spend all the time I can surfing. The cameras I used in this batch are Mamiya RB67 with 90mm f/3.5, Mamiya C330 with 80mm f/2.8, and an Olympus 35 SP. In 120 I shoot Portra 400, and 35mm I shoot Gold or Ultramax. It's not a very unique set-up, but I get what I want out of it. I develop, scan, and print by hand at home.
I think my style is pretty casual. It's not candid, as I do put consideration and energy into each shot, but I shoot basically whatever I'm already doing; at the beach, hiking, working out. I take photography seriously, but I also try not to take it too seriously.
