Enjoying the process of photography brings with it the opportunity to create. For me creating on film is the most satisfying. I have attached a few images from a project that came together out of the desire to document a family farm. The main house has sat as it was the day the last resident left it over 30 years ago. The decision was made to present a "Day in the Life" as it might have been when the farm was more active.
The Pentax 67 is my top shelf camera but for this day I went with the Pentax LX and a roll of HP5. The goal was not "perfect" exposure rather a sense of the time. Can a person view the images and have a sense of presence?
Located in Gig Harbor, WA - and though I have traveled 32 countries and 49 states the Pacific Northwet is where I enjoy life and all that it brings with it.
I chose to share most of my images in print and keep a low profile online. Maybe I will look at sharing a bit more often at www.todcole.com
